Who am I?
I am Sam a technical guy (from California),the site admin of “MortgageFit - World’s Largest Mortgage Community“.
I’ve seen some of my friends and cousin somehow falling at the hands of predatory mortgage lenders. They’ve really suffered - sometimes high rates, huge charges and untimely adjustments and what not…and I found they were not the only ones who suffered..there are many more every year who fall into the hands of predatory lenders – either it’s their misjudgment or their bad luck.
Anyway, it made me think if I could do something to help people stay away from frauds and scams, empower them to take the right decisions and at the same time keep me involved in technological innovations. That’s how the concept of being in a community flashed in my mind…It’s hard to break a community but easy to fight against illegal practices when you’re in a community. So, that’s how I thought of the mortgage community – MortgageFit.
